Mindful Girl Love

Mindful Girl Love
A mindful dating & relationship mobile application designed exclusively for lesbians
Project Overview
Mindful Girl Love is a relationship-focused mobile application designed exclusively for lesbians, combining dating, identity expression, and mindfulness practices to help users build deeper emotional connections, not just matches.
Unlike traditional dating apps that focus primarily on swipes and appearances, this platform introduces shared mindful activities to strengthen bonds between couples.
Problem Statement
Existing dating apps in the market presented multiple UX and emotional challenges for lesbian users:
Lack of safe, exclusive spaces for lesbians
Limited or rigid sexual identity representation
Overemphasis on swiping and superficial engagement
No support for emotional bonding or relationship growth
Mindfulness and wellness apps exist separately, not integrated into relationships
🔍 Core Problem:
How might we design a dating experience that feels emotionally safe, inclusive, and helps lesbian couples build meaningful, mindful relationships?
Goals
Create a safe & affirming space exclusively for lesbians
Allow flexible sexual identity expression
Encourage emotional bonding over superficial matching
Integrate mindfulness into relationships, not just individuals
Keep the experience warm, calm, and non-judgmental

Lesbian women aged 22–35

Often feel underserved or misrepresented on mainstream dating platforms
